ONE BRAVE LITTLE SPARROW

"Well, my children, - Father said, -you're all
grown up now,you should learn to fly!"
And with these words he pushed the little sparrow
and her brothers and sisters out of the nest.
They all opened their wings and made their first flight.
But Little Sparrow couldn't fly,
no matter how hard she tried.

So she found herself sitting
on the pavement of 7th Ave in New York City.
Little Sparrow saw her father in the tree
and she called him. He paid her no attention,
because she was as good as dead to him now.
Then a human girl found her and
asked her to come and live with her. Little Sparrow
thought about it for a minute and agreed..
So that's how Little Sparrow starts to live with Girl.

 


 Girl gave her a house to live in and as much food as the sparrow could eat.
And also Little Sparrow was given a name - Varechka.
Little Sparrow liked Baby food very-very much!
She also didn't mind a new name.

Every morning Varechka starts with a song and a nice breakfast ...
Varechka likes to eat lettuce very much!
... and sometimes she prefers to snack on sunflower seeds, she can eat 3 or 4 at a time!
Girl has to pull skins off for Sparrow.

After a healthy breakfast Varechka exercises with weights - she throws music CDs around.
She weighs very little, so if she were human, she would be throwing sewer lids.
And of course every day Varechka practices her flying skills.
She even can do "dead loops" and swoops! Although she preffers hopping and jumping.
She's a real master at sharp U- turns!

Varechka has a lot of toys to play with:
She has a blinders string to pull at ...
... she has a small bamboo tree to tag at ...

...Sparrow can have the greatest fun of all and run around with flowing toilet paper! She also likes to sing along with radio.
Little Sparrow loves hard rock very much!		 Sometimes The Bird remebers her old home and tries to build a nest from whatever she can find. Varechka is also a Brave bird.
She is not afraid of anyone and will attack human Giants or Big Dogs if she thinks that they come way too close to her plate!

Although Varechka is a Magnificent Bird, she has her ups and downs too.
There are gloomy days when Varechka wakes up in a bad mood, looks at herself in the mirror and thinks "Oh what an annoying bird sits there and stares at me!"
And she pecks that bird in the mirror.
Also Varechka doesn't like to cut her nails.
They can grow very big and very scary!
Little Sparrow absolutely opposes taking a bath.
She'd rather have a swim in a fluffy comforter

When she's tired, she can take a nap.
Varechka can find a cozy place to cuddle absolutely anywhere - on a soft carpet or in her rock garden.

At the end of the day, when the daylight dies out, she goes to her favourite sleeping place behind the tv.
No one knows what she dreams of.
